A free page at near.animica.org/b/your-name. What you write appears under “From the business”; the OpenStreetMap facts stay in their own section, labelled, so a reader always knows who is making a claim.

Buy a promoted position

Positions start at $1 per city and rank by amount. To take first place you outbid the current leader — and both the leader’s price and the cost of first place are published, so you can see exactly what you are bidding into before you commit.

You are taken to PayPal to approve. Your position goes live only once the payment clears, and the figure shown publicly is the amount PayPal actually captured — not what was typed here.

The amount you pay is displayed on your listing. That is deliberate: a reader who can see what a placement cost can judge it for themselves, which is not true of an unlabelled ad.

What you can and cannot buy

A promoted position: Available from $1 per city. Clearly labelled, drawn differently from organic results, and captioned with the amount you paid.
A better ranking: Not for sale. Organic order is computed from distance, travel time, opening hours, accessibility and data completeness — money is not an input.
An accessibility or opening-hours claim: Not for sale, at any price. Those facts come from OpenStreetMap on a sponsored card exactly as they do on every other card. A sponsored place that fails a searcher’s hard requirement is not shown at all.
Removing a competitor: Not for sale.

Correcting the facts

Near reads OpenStreetMap. The fastest way to fix an address, hours or accessibility tag is to edit it there — the correction then reaches Near, every other OSM-based app, and anyone who uses the data.
